the mayday is a rave that takes place in the night from 30 th April of the 1.Mai in the Westfalenhalle in Dortmund -
Germany. Mayday - in Germany it is called Maytag - meant ist the day or this event on the 1.Mai.
on this day are also partys in the Harz mountains.
the Mayday is with 20000 to 30000 visitors per year one of the hugest indoor raves in Germany.
The organizer oft the Mayday is the I-Motion GmbH

The first Mayday takes place in 1991 to the saving of the cult radio sender DT64.
The radio sender is history, but the Mayday has found so many friends that the mayday has in some years been celebrated in Germany, Russia, Polland and the Hungary.
